Product Description
Proper application of this special acrylic-based formulation ensures non-chalking with strong adhesion properties, effectively preventing peeling and flaking of topcoat. Its special formula seals the pores and provides good Anti Alkali & Efflorescence resistance property. Its excellent opacity and whiteness imparts good finish to the topcoat.
Application Description
Freshly Plastered surfaces must be allowed to cure completely. It is recommended to allow at least 12 weeks as the curing time for new masonry surfaces. For best results the moisture content of the wall should be less than 10%. Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae and flaking paint. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/stiff coir brush, followed by water jetting if required
Step 2 : Application process
Dilute 1litre of Dulux Weathershield Prime Coat Primer with Maximum 1 litre of water. Apply 1 coat of Dulux Weathershield Prime Coat Primer and allow a drying time of 4-6 hours before applying topcoat. If there is putty application, then it is recommended to apply the priming coat below and above the putty.
Step 3 : Drying Time
Touch dry for Dulux Weathershield Prime Coat Primer is up to 1 hour and recoat time is within 3-4 hours.
