Product Description
Ordinary exterior paints cannot protect the sloping tile Roofs and exterior brick walls from algae and fungus attacks. Dulux Weathershield Tile has a strong latex film which gives exterior tiles, bricks and stones a rich sheen and protection from algae, fungus, cracking and peeling on hard surfaces.
Application Description
Step 1 : Surface Preparation
Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae and flaking paint. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/stiff coir brush, followed by water jetting if required. Use Dulux Aquatech Pre Treatment Coat to ensure that algae and fungi are removed from the roots.
Step 2 : Application process
Dilute 1 liter of the paint with 300-400 ml of clean water for solid shades. In case of deep colours, dilute with maximum of 250 ml of water to 1liter paint. No Dilution is recommended for Clear and Metallic shades. Stir thoroughly before use. Apply 2-3 coats with an intermittent drying time of 4-6 hours
Step 3 : Drying time
Touch dry for the paint is up to 1 hour and allow 4-6 hours of drying time for recoating

Health & Safety
Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc of paint films may generate hazardous dust and/or fumes. Wet sanding/flatting should be used wherever possible. Work in well ventilated areas. Use suitable personal protection equipment. Refer Safety Data Sheet for more details.
