Product Description

Dulux Weathershield Flash is a high quality primer cum top coat combination developed using the unique High Bond Latex technology which is 100 % acrylic based smooth emulsion with superior all weather protection with excellent anti-algal and anti-fungal properties. This special product delivers the same finish as conventional system (1 coat primer followed by 2-3 coats of top coat finish) without the need of a primer.

Application Description

Step 1 : Surface Preparation
Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae and flaking paint. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/stiff coir brush, followed by water jetting if required. Use Dulux Aquatech Pre Treatment Coat to ensure that algae and fungi are removed from the roots.

Step 2 : Application process
With Waterproofing :
Application of putty is not recommended. Apply 1 self- priming coat of Dulux Aquatech DampProtect Basecoat with 30% dilution. Apply 1 coat of DampProtect basecoat without dilution as a waterproofing coat.
Dilute 1 liter of the paint with 400-500 ml of clean water for application. In case of dark colours, dilute with maximum of 250 ml of water to 1liter paint. Stir thoroughly before use. Apply 2-3 coats with an intermittent drying time of 4-6 hours

Step 3 : Drying time
Touch dry for the paint is up to 30 minutes and allow 4-6 hours of drying time for recoating

Health & Safety

No added Lead, Mercury & chromium compounds. Lead content in dried paint film does not exceed 90 parts per million. Refer Safety Data Sheet for more details.
