Step 1: Surface Preparation
New concrete/plaster surface should be allowed to mature properly. Ensure that the surface is clean, dry, free from all loose particles, dust, dirt, grease, wax, mould, fungal growth etc. before application and all surfaces should be thoroughly rubbed down using a suitable abrasive paper and thereafter wiped off.
Step 2: Application process
Prime surface with a coat of cement primer and dry overnight. Smoothen the surface by filling dents with putty. Sand with emery paper and wipe clean. Dilute the paint with 25% - 40% clean water (25-300 for darker shades) and apply 2 coats of Dulux VT Platinum Glo.
Step 3: Drying time
Touch dry for the paint is 30 minutes and allow 4-6 hours of drying time for recoating.
