Product Description

Dulux Promise SmartChoice Exterior Emulsion is a good quality, water based emulsion paint. Equipped with good coverage and good opacity formulation, it covers a larger area in same quantity of paint and its Anti-Peeling properties ensures that the paint film remains intact giving smooth finish to your walls.

Application Description

Step 1: Surface Preparation
Application of putty is not recommended. Apply one self-priming coat or one coat of Dulux Exterior Promise Primer or Dulux Exterior Acrylic Primer after thinning with water in the ratio of 1:1.
Step 2: Application Process
Dilute 1 litre of paint with maximum 700 ml of water for brush application and 300-400ml of water for roller application. Apply 2 coats of Dulux Promise SmartChoice Exterior and allow a drying time of 4-6 hours between the coats
Step 3: Drying time
Surface Dry-Up to 30 min. Recoat: 4-6 hours. An additional coat is recommended in case of horizontal surfaces like the top of windows, ledges, parapet wall, etc. It is recommended to wash/clean the building every year for the better performance of the coating

Health & Safety

Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc of paint films may generate hazardous dust and other fumes. Wet sanding/flaming should be used wherever possible. Refer Safety Data Sheet for more details.

Tips & Advice

1. Preparing the Surfaces

Ensure that the surface is clean, dry, free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae & flaking paint before application.
2. Cleaning

For best performance of paint ensure proper washing and cleaning of all algal and fungal growth at regular interval of six months.
