Product Description

Dulux Aquatech Interior Waterproof Basecoat Advance is an easy to apply, 1K film-forming waterproofing basecoat for interior surfaces which provides a long term solution against interior waterproofing problems like dampness and alkali attack, thus keeping the integrity of your paint film intact for longer period and enhancing the life of your walls

Application Description

Stir the sample well before use.
Apply a single coat of Dulux Aquatech interior basecoat Advance without dilution with a forced coverage of 40-50 sqft/liter. Allow it to dry for 4-6 hours.
Apply 2 thin coats of Dulux Polyputty or Acrylic Wall putty on the surface. Allow it to dry for 4-6 hours. Sand with emery paper 180. Wipe clean the surface.
Apply coat of Dulux Water based Cement primer or Interior Acrylic Primer with 50% dilution.
Allow it to dry thoroughly for 3-4 hours before application of Topcoat.
Now the surface is ready for topcoat application. Apply topcoat as per the application recommendations of respective topcoats.

Lead content in dried paint film does not exceed 90 parts per million. • Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc of paint films may generate hazardous dust and other fumes. Wet sanding/flaming should be used wherever possible. Work in well ventilated areas. Use suitable personal protection equipment. • Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. • Call a POISON CENTER or physician if you feel unwell. • Do not breathe vapor/spray. • Remove as much paint as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning. • Do not use empty container for storing food. Hazard Statements • Toxic to aquatic life. • Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Precautionary Statements • Keep out of reach of children. • If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. • Avoid release to the environment. • Dispose of contents and containers in accordance with all local, regional, national and international regulations

  • 1. Cleaning
    Clean painting equipment immediately after use and dry
  • 2. Storing
    Observe the label precautions. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated place away from sources of heat, ignition and direct sunlight. No smoking. Prevent unauthorised access. Containers which are opened should be properly resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Do not use or store any paint container by hanging on a hook.
